Board-Off Tips
Gebruik een grotere kite
Meer kite = meer hangtime. Probeer board-offs niet te leren met je kleinste kite bij harde wind. Kies een dag waarop je comfortabel een grotere kite kunt vliegen.
Beheers eerst de tail grab
Voordat je een volledige board-off probeert, zorg dat je consistent de tail van je board kunt grijpen tijdens sprongen. De tail grab is de basis — zodra dat automatisch gaat, volgt de board-off vanzelf.
Oefen op het land
Sta met je board ingestapt en oefen het van je voeten flikkeren en weer terugzetten met je pols. Krijg het spiergeheugen onder de knie voordat je 10 meter in de lucht bent.
Ga vol voor de landing
De meest voorkomende fout is aarzelen bij het terugplaatsen van het board. Schuif je voeten erin en stamp de landing — probeer niet voorzichtig te zijn.
